Using Manual Mode
Using manual mode allows you to overide the standard program settings, this can be used for many different reasons i.e. summer time when the underfloor heating is not needed.
Manual mode does tend to confuse some users so it is important to cover it.

It is important that you understand when using manual mode to activate the heating that you remember to either set the controller back to auto or remember to turn the heating down using the guide below. Failing to set the thermostat to low or back to auto can dramatically increase your running costs.
Step 1
To switch between manual mode and auto mode press button 4 and you will see a visual representation on the right of the display to show which mode you are in.
Manu = Manual
Auto = Automatic
Step 2 (in Manual mode [manu])
Now you are in manual mode you can set the level you require by pressing button 2 to select either comfort, economy or vacation.
Comfort is the sun, Economy is the moon, Vacation is the case.
Selecting the sun will turn the underfloor heating on if the room temperature is below the set temperature.
Step 3
To set the thermostat back to automatic mode press button 4 and the display should show auto on the right hand side.
We do not recommend the use of manual mode as a way to control the heating on a daily basis, it is better to use the automatic program where possible.
